​​I would like to take this opportunity to thank Austin Vita for helping us place a freelance expert in the field of QM/RA. As we know, the current regulatory requirements put all companies in the medical device industry under considerable pressure to act. Processes have to be adapted, procedures have to be reorganised according to regulatory requirements and documentation has to be supplemented or newly developed to a considerable extent. For these probably only temporary requirements, small and medium-sized companies, such as ours, cannot always maintain their own know-how and manpower. At the end of 2020, we were faced with the task of fundamentally revising our TD. However, existing resources here in the company were tied up by day-to-day business and, in addition, specialist knowledge was required, which we did not have sufficiently in our organisation: thus a classic project for interim support. Through regular newsletter contacts, I was familiar with AustinVita as a service provider in the area of finding freelance interim staff in the life sciences sector. Our challenge was that in the difficult environment of QM/RA, we were looking for a new senior employee who already had some years of professional experience and who could bring his knowledge and experience to our high-tech start-up. Basically, people working in QM/RA are very hard to find and usually they do not have the pressing intention to change. So finding the right people is very challenging! At first I thought I was dealing with another one of those black sheep in the industry who send bait profiles that of course fit the advertised position perfectly. But unfortunately, this person is then not (any longer) available when there is interest or demand... I was fortunately proved wrong by the Austin Vita employee. The work is sound, the candidate profiles are very well researched and of high quality. The support provided by the recruitment consultant is excellent and very goal-oriented. Nevertheless, the personal aspect is not neglected, so that I felt very well looked after. The success proves us right! We have found a very good new employee who even dared to move from America to Germany with his family for the position. Thank you for that! And the very good impression was also confirmed here, we have found a very well-suited freelancer, she will start with us soon, we are excited!
